SUGAR COOKIES

  • ½ Cup Butter at room temperature
  • ½ Cup Cream Cheese at room temperature
  • 2  Cups Sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 Teaspoon Bff Kitchen Cream of Tartar
  • ⅛ Teaspoon Salt
  • 3  Egg Yolks, beaten
  • ¾ Teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1+¾ Cups Flour

Mix butter and cream cheese until mixed well, add sugar beat until fluffy about 15 seconds on medium then 30 seconds on high. Add in baking soda, cream of tartar, and salt. Using a rubber spatula, run along with the bowl inside to make sure ingredients are fully mixed. Mix in as much flour in batches till fully mixed in.

Shape into a large ball, refrigerate covered for 45 mins.

Preheat the oven to 300 degrees

Roll dough into 1 inch balls and place 2 inches apart on a parchment-lined cookie sheet. Bake for 15 minutes, careful not to let the edges turn brown. Let set on the baking sheet for a minute, then remove to a wire rack to finishing cooling.

  • ¾ t Lemon Extract
  • ¾ t Orange Extract
  • ¼ t Almond Extract
